11/02/2007 - Heerenveen, Netherlands (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - After the unexpected resignation of manager Ronald Koeman earlier this week, unbeaten PSV turns to Jan Wouters as its interim boss for Saturday's match at Heerenveen.
Without Koeman, who signed to manage Spain's Valencia on Friday, Wouters is in charge of guiding the defending champions until a full-time boss is selected.
"Everything is pretty much the same after Ronald Koeman left, although I have made some small changes," said Wouters, who has been an assistant at PSV since 2006.
Wouters played 70 games for the Netherlands during his playing career and was a huge part of the team's 1988 European Football Championship. His club career took him to Utrecht, PSV, Bayern Munich and Ajax.
He got his first coaching job at Utrecht in 1996, and had stints at Ajax and Rangers before joining PSV.
PSV (7-0-2) has continued to display championship form this season, scoring 23 goals and allowing just three in nine matches.
But Koeman's departure can't bother the team or it could easily lose its grip on the top spot in the Eredivisie. PSV is just two points in front of Ajax and Feyenoord.
Seventh-place Heerenveen (4-3-2) has displayed the second-best offense in the league so far with 25 goals. If the club is going to contend for a higher spot in the league, this weekend against a shocked PSV is a great chance to pick up points.
Ajax (6-0-3) and Feyenoord (7-2-0) would welcome an upset by Heerenveen.
Ajax got its first victory under manager Ardie Koster last week ("Compliments to the team," Koster said. "They really fought for each other."), and battles sixth-place Roda on Sunday.
Feyenoord also faces a test Sunday against eight-place Graafschap in the third match of the weekend featuring two top-eight teams.
In Friday's lone league game, substitutes Adil Auassar and Ekrim Kah scored in the final 20 minutes as Willem II defeated Venlo 2-1. Ibrahim Kargbo scored in the 10th minute for Venlo.
Also on Saturday, AZ hosts NEC and Excelsior hosts Sparta.
In Sunday's other matches, Groningen hosts Vitesse, Heracles hosts Twente and Utrecht hosts NAC.

Mens NCAA Basketball Tournament odds
As of February 9, MySportsbook.com has released its coveted 2007 Mens NCAA Basketball Tournament betting odds. “March Madness betting ” only a month away, the top ranked Florida Gators are favorite at 7-2 to win it all. The defending champs have not disappointed at all this season and currently have a 22-2 record and are undefeated (9-0) in SEC play. The Gators’ thrive off of their extremely balanced, experienced and versatile attack. All five starters started in last seasons National Championship game. What is most impressive with this group is their balance; the five starters all average between 10.7 and 13.6 PPG. The Gators have been on an absolute roll having won 15 straight by an average of 16.4 PPG.
Right behind the Gators are the 5th ranked UNC Tar Heels at 9-2. The Heels (21-3, 7-2) are absolutely loaded with top notch talent and are as deep as any team in the country. A concern for the Tar Heels might be inexperience. Of their top four scorers/ minute earners, three are freshmen and the other is a sophomore. The rest of the regular season, the Tar Heels play only one team that is currently ranked (Duke). Their remaining opponents do combine for an impressive 107-58 record though.
Other teams that the MySportsbook.com members seem to believe will win it all include the west coasts’ top team #2 UCLA (6-1), #3 OSU behind man-child Greg Oden (8-1), and #4 Wisconsin (10-1) behind their defense which has given up 70+ points only three times all season.
Below is a list of some of the favorites to win the 2007 Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship lines. For the full list of teams and March Madness odds be sure to log onto MySportsbook.com.
